Default Service parts for the D4 W12

Hi all, I've got so far with parts, I've already changed the oil & filter but I need confirmation with the following if anyone can help please?
  • The spark plugs are part number 101905622A which come back to a possible of 2x Denso plugs. The IXUH22FTT is £13.49ea, the VVXHU221 is £16.19ea. What's the difference between them?
  • I got a part number for the Fuel Filter as 4H0201511A. Can this be confirmed please?
  • I got a part number for the Air Filters as 4H0129620M but I'm really not sure it's correct. Can this be confirmed please?

Thanks in advance.

All the part numbers you've listed are suitable for your W12.

As for the spark plugs, I can't find any information on the differences between the two, other than what it states on the page you linked to, and that is one has a solid SAE connector at the top, and the other has a crimped connector, and that single difference accounts for a weight difference of 9g.

Thanks very much!
Is a solid or crimped core preferred?

The biggest difference is that VXUH22I uses more traditional design with narrow Iridium centre electrode and flat shaped Platinium disc on ground electrode, on IXUH22FTT ground electrode has thin Platinium tip, look at the pictures, you will see the difference. In theory thin tip may have better exposure and ignite mixture faster and more efficiently resulting in better efficiency reducing fuel consumption and increasing power but may wear out sooner and have shorter life. In real life for stock engine there is probably no noticeable difference.

For the connector, again there is probably no measurable difference in real life, crimped may have slightly higher resistance but considering that it's thousands of volts and very little Amps, I don't think it matters. It would matter if it was other way round with little voltage and lot of Amps. In theory also if not crimped properly it could work loose and separate. So in theory solid is better but in real life no difference unless there is manufacturing defect and not crimped on properly.
