The LHD settings from what I know will affect things like AC when adjusting driver's side it will say passenger.
You can't have MPGs in km, it will either say xx mpg or xx l/km (l/100km).
If you open left door it will show left door etc.
You can change measuring unit within MMI if you think the setting is incorrect, Car the Settings or Car, Setuo and settings, not hard to find.

Hi there, from what I can see the AC etc seems to be ok (will check again on my way home). Just the door coding seems to be LHD for some reason.

Tried looking for the settings in the main options as well as hidden green menu to no avail though for changing mpg which currently reads as xx l/km (l/100km.

Can you take a photo of the problem?

Hi Matt - do you mean a pic of my driver door open and then the centre instrument cluster image showing the passenger door open instead? I did go through the 'green' menu and found somewhere it said the vehicle had a LHD set-up from what I could decipher in German in one of the menu options!

Will try and take some pics later today.

If you can, yes. Never seen that before with a wrong graphic in the instrument cluster.

Speed_Demon; am I misunderstanding something here?

There isn't a specific setting for MPG; I presume this is set from the units in the Car menu.

Hi Julian - I can`t see an option for changing the units in the car menu at all. Only get a few options to change like speed (in mph or km) etc.

In the instrument cluster the fuel consumption is displaying as xx l/km (l/100km) which I can`t seem to change.

In the hidden menu I get this under the MMI settings (see attached pic)

I was referring to the changes you can make in the 'Setup/Measurement Units' MMI Menu. This has a 'Distance Unit' and 'Speed'. If you have 'Distance' set to "miles" and 'Speed' to "MPH" then your 'l/km' in the cluster is a different problem I'm not able to help you with.

I think you're going to need a VCDS scan anyway, as to really try and check these two issues out, members of this forum will want to see part numbers, HW/SW versions and coding settings of the Instrument panel and door ECUs to make progress ...

Julian

I'm getting more and more confused with your issues if I'm honest.
See attached photo for changing the units
Press Car > Setup > Setting in top right corner and then go to Meassuring Units
If that won't solve the problem there could be incorrect coding in your cluster or other units.

About the doors.
I wonder if you have a passenger unit fitted on driver's door or this unit coded as passenger.

A full VCDS scan would be best place to start mate.

What version of MMI have you got by the way ??

Hi Julian - all of those settings are set correctly from what I can see. So will probably need a VCDS scan to see what the root cause is. There doesn`t seem to be any other option in the 'normal' car menu system for me to change the fuel consumption figures so I think it must be linked to my car seemingly being set-up as a LHD in the software somewhere with the door issue I have in the cluster and also the LHD set-up I can see in the green hidden menu under MMI.

This is the version info from my car:

SW: D3-HU 55.7.0 0835

HW: D3-HU 6300D2.0

FC SW: 06231AFC6AB320050

FC PS: 0050 FC HW: H01
