Appreciate your feedback Goran.
I just bought of some Vulcanating tape and put more then enough for it to not be sucking air there any more. Only change is that the g/s is now even lower. showing average 0,30-0,36 on idle and barely increasing at WOT. So not an improvement in any way. Seems like the MAF has to be the guilty party this time. according to BOSCH, this is the one i need. and of course this is the only one mye usual websites does not have (Rexbo/Mister Auto) The MAF

This one seems to be at an OK price
http://www.buycarparts.co.uk/oen/077133471h Searching by the Audi number 077 133 471 H The fault could also be with the wiring, power supply to MAF or in the ECU, check out the attached pdf

I've got a spare MAF which I can loan for a swapover test if you're in the area.
I bought one ages ago to swap over to see if it affected my weird occasional lack of power issues - it didn't. Not actually sure which one is currently in the car. Edit: Just noticed Norway! ![]()

I have missed that it's Norway as well, try this site: http://www.autodeler.co.no/oen/077133471h Looks like it's the same company and price is about the same as well.

Hehe.. Thanks for all info in regards to my problems
![]() I have now cleaned the MAF with Isopronal and it sure looks cleaner, but no difference and the same fault codes. To eliminate any leaks i have been all over the vacum system and intake related piping with the Quick start gas but no response to that either. So i know there is not any Airleaks and this only leaves two options: -Dead MAF -Wiring problems. I'll start off with measuring the MAF connectior(Thanks for the PDF Ainar ![]() Prob will order a new MAF just in case. Stealer wanted 300GBP for a new one.. Since i'm in need of the car everyday i will baby it around until the problem is fixed. Only noticable difference after reaching normal operating temperature, is that it seems be a bit more thirsty(if even possible) So i guess a faulty MAF would cause the car to run rich all the time ?

Have gone thru the voltage/earth test and all is the it should be according to the ElsaWin PDF.
Only thing i was not sure if needed to be checked, was the last thing regarding Wirering to the MAF. As long as the other signals i have checked are fine, should that not eliminate any wirering problems? ![]()
