Default A8 D3 wheels and winter tyres

Sadly my A8 is now gone and I have these winter wheels left. They are original A8 17 inch wheels with Yokohama winter tyres. Wheels have some marks and tyres done about 6000 miles last winter. Centre caps are also included, but forgot to take pictures of them.

£300 collected from Settle, or can deliver within reasonable range for fuel money.

Bump

Sensible offers considered, I need to shift them as they are stored at my friends garage.

I'm not sure I can think of anyone on here who has/has used 17" rims, so you might be punting in the wrong marketplace. Is it worth trying another VAG forum (A6, Golf, etc, etc?)

I used to have 17" winter wheels on my PF S8, but they wouldn't fit over the brakes when I moved to FL.

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Thats strange as the S8 FL manual states that 17" wheels ARE what is provided as winter wheels

Indeed, I remember reading that myself.
In fact they did just clear, by about 1mm, but the balance weights fouled on the front calipers. Spacers might have fixed that.
And mine were not OEM S8 wheels, but rather the Avus design from, I think, an S3 or S4. Correct offset etc. but alloys.
I can imagine that a steel wheel, if that was the OEM winter wheel, could easily be made in a suitable profile to clear comfortably.

The 17" flat fives from the non-sport model should clear the Brembos - thats what I have on my racecar.

The wheels advertised are 8x17 as well afaik but the spokes look much thicker so I'd say its unlikely these will work with the Brembos, but they should work for all the other D2 brake setups.

What size tyres are on them?

They are 235/55/17, I believe standard d3 size for 17inch wheels
