Thread bump!
I’m having trouble getting rid of the service due reminder using VAGCOM. I pressed the SRI reset button and it seemed to cycle through and reset values but 2 starts later the reminder pops up again. Do I need to go in and enter some values manually? Car is a 2008 MY 4.2 tdi Cheers! |

Alex. This issue can happen when clearing error codes too, it is advisable to go into the specific module in question and clear it manually.
Saying that, sometimes it isn’t necessary.

Thanks
I'm assuming then I need some values to enter to create a reminder at an appropriate point? I'll do some more googling. Cheers Alex |

I don’t have encyclopaedic knowledge of VCDS, but is there a channel called Instrument Cluster, which you can click into and have a play with?
Sure someone will be along soon to offer more help than I.

However, sometimes it doesn't seem to work! But if you run the VCDS SRI function, even if you don't change anything, VCDS stores the current values in the VCDS Debug folder. See an example from my 3.0 TDi attached. If you could look at yours and enter it here, we can probably help you ... Julian
