I have a similar dilemma, loved my 8's d2/3/4 but didn't love the roofbox (or trailer).

I had high hopes for the Q8, but sadly it just feels a less practical not expensive Q7..... a bit like the A7 is too the to the A6! So sticking with the Q7, as a van, its not bad
