My rear passenger side recently stopped working, but not sure when I'll get round to looking. From memory whenI had a door panel off in my PF D3, they're a single LED that lights up the strip, so it's either gone or worked loose.

I read it's controlled by roof control module. It may be worth checking that for errors or running output tests, but it will probably not help, just say open/short circuit.

Hi,
I also have the strip light out, and strangely enough also on the front passenger door. Did you ever get yours fixed! Thanks, |

Just n update, my strip light is being replaced by Audi under warranty. The extended warranty clearly states that it doesn't cover bulbs of any type. This makes me wonder if its a known issue as all seem to be the front passenger door that fails. However the technician (mechanic) did say they would be replacing the "unit". I will try and find out what the repair involves..
Thanks Mark |
