Wimping out of this tomorrow...
…as I can't really argue (with myself!) that driving 3 hours in the rain to this event is worth it for the potential of then standing in the rain for (most of) the rest of the day, no matter how good your company is, and to then face worse driving conditions back to Manchester again….
 Call me a wimp, but I'll get a better return from the upcoming Classic Show next weekend at Tatton Park (3 miles away).  If I'd not seen a number of you already this summer, it might be more worth the trek, but as it stands, it ain't. For those of you who do make it, enjoy, and take pictures to make me jealous! 1. Well it's been an interesting weekend already, a blow-out on the M1 kept the journey down interesting. Try getting from the fast lane to the hard shoulder in heavy traffic in a hurry, it's an ordeal to say the least. No harm done though, spare fitted and the journey completed. It's a bit hairy changing a wheel on the factory jack when the car is rocking every time a lorry rumbles past, thankfully it was the near side rear.
We're staying at Rushton Hall tonight if anyone wants to pop in for an expensive pint. Neil, will we be allowed in the allocated area with the oil burner? By the way, does anyone know the best method of removing brown stains from light grey alcantara?

Rushton Hall is a nice place, are you sure youre not a Laird or Lord? Yes I'm sure there will be room for a smaller one on the stand Ron (at one end or at the back ) will be great to catch up!See you in the morn! PS have you thought of dyeing the rest of the Alcantara brown? after a few pints at Rushton Hall and seeing the bill when you check out it should be no problem!!

Hello you 8ers,
Raving reporter here from the Audi's in the Pond show here at Billing Aquadrome. We have been allocated a big lake to park in. It was a field this morning when we arrived and due to the huge amount of liquid sunshine we are now sheltering in a Mercedes so we don't get the leather wet in an 8! �� We managed 9 8s in a row and for the first time in this reporters experience the D3s outnumbered the D2s. More to follow from Romping idc.
