Not had a chance to take photos, but bumpety bump anyway. Need to clear space for the spare wheels for the A8 replacement.

Temp is dropping. Snow is coming. Turn your A8 into a snow plough and sail past x5's and Rangies spinning summer rubber and going nowhere!

Right, I've now taken loads of photos. But photobucket seems to be playing up presently so I'll try to add them later. As you'll see, tyres are the superb and very highly rated Finnish made Nokian WRA-3 winters in 245/50/18 104V XL , i.e., huge load rating. I prefer these over the super premium suspects. They are more comfortable, far better wearing, and unbeatable in the snow, but especially excel in wet, cold, icy roads so they are perfect for a UK winter. Many people on the continent run these as year round tyres. These tyres have the advantage of a built in depth gauge, and this shows the 8mm marker just starting to rub off, hence these tyres really are almost new. The wheels are overall in excellent condition, I'd say 95% perfect. I am VERY fussy though. I have tried to photograph a very faint mark on the finish on one of the wheels. It really isn't noticeable unless looking for it. There is no curbing at all. None of the wheels or tyres have had any repairs, and 2 of them were in fact brand new when I had them powder coated as I sourced them as un-used spares.

I can guarantee, these will not disappoint, and for the price I'm asking, this is a no brainer. Be safer through the winter, and give your quattro the rubber it deserves, and at the same time keep the salt and grit (and wear) off your summer tyres. These need to go as I need the space for yet more wheels. Based in Cheltenham, might consider courier at cost plus packaging.

Ahh, pb working!!

My 19" winter tyres were £860 fitted

So that is a very good price for the condition of the wheels and tyres. IMO

If I didn't already have a good set of Michelin Alpin PA4's and matching mint 18" alloys, then I might be interested. I expect someone else from the forum will be along soon - assuming that the temperature in November eventually decides to drop below 10 degrees, that is…

Seriously, don't hang about or these will have to be offered to the great unwashed on fleebay as I have winters coming for the new car next weekend and I need the space. I will not be thanked for storing wheels in the house!!

Lol David, indeed - I did try the lawnmower wheels on the 8 but they didn't quite fill the arches enough. Just didn't look right.

As you know Dan I picked these up from Germany, but the photos of your fat 5's make me wish I had waited...
