Assuming standard car length is 4.5m, the lambo, after initial collision, travels 3 x 4.5m in 1 second (roughly).
Thats 13.5m/s = 30.2mph
One would hope he hit the brakes before 1st collision, plus the decelerration after collision, he must have been going more than 30mph for his post-collision velocity to average at 30mph.
Just following on from that, the Lambo covers the length of the Mazda in 0.2 second. The Demio is just over 12 feet long (12.47). That equates to 60 feet per second, which is 40.9 mph. Now, even allowing for the Mazda also travelling roughly 5 feet, that still equates to the Lambo doing 37.5 mph.

Still not convinced though that the blame should lie with the Mazda driver. He was exercising caution coming out of the junction. The Lambo driver was speeding and didn't even react to the Mazda as the video clearly shows he made no attempt to brake. If the cars were the other way round, then I could see it being the Mazdas fault.

As to the tone of the stories about this, I haven't read any, but face the facts, the driver was driving without due care and attention. If a child had walked out from in front of the Nissan for example, what then?

Yes he's young, and yes he has a spectacular car, but that doesn't give him the right to drive like that in a built up area and expect to get away with it. He tried it and it didn't go well for him. He should thank his lucky stars that he didn't injure anyone.

As I said in my first post, from a legal stance of who pays out, my money is on the mazda bearing the lions share if not all, even if it is proven the lambo was at more than 30. Not saying this is right - just the way it is having dealt professionally with these situations for 25+ years.

Just noticed that the road markings have a wide central area marked out, with white lines several feet apart and the Mazda was almost entirely within that central area.
And if you look on Street View there is a central pedestrian refuge (and light) there, must have been removed which is unusual.

Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

The video was filmed in 25 fps or 1 frame every 40ms, I have taken the first frame where Lambo appears and the 7 frames (280ms) later Lambo has travelled the distance marked in first picture which I would say is about 5m without me going to London and measuring it. This gives 5m in 280ms or 17.86 m/s which translates to 40mph.

First Lambo appearance

7 frames or 280ms later

Although the speed of the Lambo is almost certainly a contributing factor, my understanding is...
The Mazda joined the road from a side road, crossed the path of the other vehicle, therefore, unfair as it may seem .... its down to the Mazda driver.
