Battery goes flat.
My FL S8 seems unable to keep a charge for more than a week or two.
I've popped a few new batteries in over the last few years- but if I leave it for more than a week or two, the damn thing wont start. Are there any obvious places to start looking for the problem?

Ah.
I see I double posted. Thanks again. I guess I can check the voltage regulator by checking the batt voltage while it's running. S

I read somewhere that a failing/failed voltage regulator actually causes a drain on the battery, but can't remember where I saw it posted. I'm also sure that one of the forum regulars replaced theirs not that long ago, maybe in the last year or so.

I replaced my alternator earlier this year, but that was a result of a coolant bath, nothing else
