Yup, gotta get your priorities right.

There's always a way. Just find another way to save money or find something to give up ... like food perhaps. Or if you've got a few kids, keep the best one and sell the rest. You really don't need more than one kid.

Your current track says it all. The one time you really want cylinder-on-demand, but you're going too slow for it to kick in.

True, but the slightest sniff of a hill and it doesn't use 6-Cylinder mode anyway. It's great for flat roads, but I live in Cumbria... (≧﹏ ≦)

I also sometimes use fuel consumption to check for potential problems with the car.

Hurrah for the miserly consumption of the V6 petrol. Almost respectable compared to some of the numbers here

Fiat Tipo diseasel econobox with all the buttons and none of the soul that now does all the heavy lifting.

Ford Capri Laser: noisy, slow, thirsty, bouncy, no buttons but it always sounds like it’s REALLY trying and I can’t help but chuckle when it parps and boings along. And people of a certain age stare at it with a wistful look in their eyes that clearly says…I had one of them. And I sold it because of the kids
