Default Wobbly driver's seat

Hi,
Does anybody know if the seat mechanisms can be serviced?

Mine has a small wobble (few millimeters).

Every time I accelerate it tilts backwards and every time I break it tilts forwards. It's not a problem on the motorway, but it's annoying as hell in town.

The mechanic where I service it says there's nothing he can do about it and it's a lost cause, but I thought I'd ask somewhere else.

Thanks.

You don't specifically mention whether it's the entire seat or just the backrest part, so I'll go for the former. I haven't gone through the entire PDF, but on page 396 of the following one, you could check to ensure that the four retaining bolts are torqued up properly (50Nm). If that isn't the cause, there is a lot more information in there on the seats, in group 72:

Sorry,
I should have been more specific.
It's the base of the seat that tilts.
I can feel the front move up and down.
