Really interesting.

Here is the extract for A8/S8s below.

D2's (calculated up to 2002) have a failure rate of 39% and 35% for the A8 and S8 respectively.

Interesting that for my year (2000), the MOT failure on an A8 is 43% - Braking being the most common fault, then suspension and then tyres.

The same trend seems true across the entire data set for both A8 & S8....

I assume that 'driver's view of the road' is to do with stone chips and cracks ???

Seems like quite a high failure rate...or is it me?

Ian - i bet you'd love to get your hands on the contact details for those 5k odd D2 owners' details...imagine the forum then
