Well 21W is the normal value for indicators so 10W behind a tint was rather pushing it...
It would also be interesting to try orange LED's.

Yes, I know, but that was the best I could find at the time. You should have seen the 5W ones!

Ordered US taillights today.

Part numbers: '4D0 945 095 B' and '4D0 945 096 B'.
Euro part numbers are the same, but without 'B' letter in the end.

Got them with 10% discount from Reading Audi for £86 each. Plus 20% VAT.

Yes, we can order US parts from the UK. Backorder from Germany of course.

The only missing element is green bulbs

Green bulbs arrived yesterday. I'll try to pack yours up and get them posted tonight Sergey. I go away for a few days on Wednesday, so I won't get any others in the post until next week. But I don't have an address for anyone else. PM me guys!

I caught today's post - first class!

I've fitted 2 of mine and they're definitely on the amber side of red, although the iPhone can't tell the difference! I'll try to get a photo with a decent camera some time.

Great, great, great.

Received green bulbs, received brand new US lenses from Audi. Removed all lettering with 600 3M sandpaper and polished. Fitted everything into car with Jim's green bulbs. Yes, turn signal is a bit more yellowish than standard red, so I hope that makes them 'yellow enough' to make MOT people happy.

I really like US red lenses more than Euro. Apart from being fully red they have big light reflectors on each wing surface. Euro lenses don't have those reflectors. Also, US lens have *one more bulb* (kind of additional side light) that doesn't exist on Euro lamps -- I didn't know that I'm planning to connect and actually use it (perhaps as additional fog light or turn light).

Has someone with US lenses upgrade already connected that bulb?

Attached is a picture I've stolen from US eBay with a bulb I'm talking about to the right. It has two connectors I'm going to order to connect the bulb. When I removed my Euro lights in the past I noticed a dummy cover in that place and I thought "hmm... here must be something. Perhaps another bulb". Now I know -- it was reserved place for US side light.

This also explains to me design of D2's rear wing lenses, i.e. why they 'stretch' so far to wings (that area looked kind of unused for me). Now I know that place was reserved for the US taillight that have huge light reflector on wing sides and with additional bulb in the middle.

Another question: has anyone checked existence of green LED bulbs? They may be greener than classic green bulbs that Jim found

Also ordered two green LED bulbs from here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3905176801...84.m1439.l2649

I want to compare if they produce more yellowish color than Jims. I'm certain they won't be as bright as Jim's but color is the key for MOT.
