Great, and very well it works too. Its only a minute or two behind Sky and works very well over 3G. You will need to buy an official apple composite cable though.

OK, I've just picked up a 3GS (what a cool piece of kit it is!) and have no idea how to connect this in the car.

I don't have an ipod connector in the car either.

Singh you say you need a 'proper' Apple av cable but nothing seems compatible with 3.1.2. firmware that I've found yet.
Why does it have to be an Apple AV lead. A cable is a cable after all (isn't it?)

A step by step or idiots guide would be handy (I've only had the phone 4 days).

Apple in order to make you buy their overpriced bespoke cable put some wizardry in the cable which means its difficult for the chinese cloners to make cheap copies. Its a right PITA if you ask me.

Personally I like MacOSX but hate the tie in and price premium that Apple charge for their hardware.

equally things like even in their latest and greatest 3GS they omit key bits of standard stuff. e.g. get someone with any other phone to bluetooth you a business card. works fie in pretty much every other phone in the world except iPhones. then teh camera( or should I say scanner!!!!) try taking a picture of something moving across the frame, you will find teh result rather different to your expectations!

for those who prefer Nokia, a lot of their N series supports TVout via the 3.5mm jack. with a hacked version of iPlayer ( courtesy of my tweaking the code) you can use it over 3G so have full access to iPlayer where ever you are. ( comes in very handy if you have little ones)

The Blue Whale - You need to get some AV cables that run from the TV Tuner in the boot of your car to under the armrest to where you can plug in your I Phone. I got mine from an eBay seller in Germany for about £15. The TV tuner is located in the left hand hatch in the boot of the car. Then you will need an apple composite cable that IIRC is about £40-50. Works very well though and a lot cheaper then the hundreds it will cost to upgrade to a digital TV tuner. If you need any help, let me know.

Is there any news as to if they are going to add more chanels, like on the PC version of this site? Brilliant to have. I watched Carla come back to Coronation Street while in the bath last nite. Never need to miss a thing again, and my Mrs still genuinely thinks I don't give a toss about Corry!
