A funny car the XJ220, but like marmite... You either love or hate. I always fancied a Lambo in preference, but I guess every kid had his favourite supercar....

All the XK220's I've ever seen have been in motor museums parked up doing nothing, or theres a nice collection of smashed up ones here: http://www.wreckedexotics.com/xj220/

Never seen one that actually looks capable of movement..... Sad really for a car that supposed to do 220mph...

Good working example of one in the Haynes museum - ok still a museum but least they are all driven. Horrible car up close and doesn't fit through a 6'6 restriction! - sorry :-)
I'd be drivin a DB9, or a F355 once i have saved up

I overtook a 220 once, sat doing 65 on the M60 about 2 years ago. I was in a rush to get to work or I would have tucked in behind and watched it for a few miles. My car share didn't have a clue what it was, It took me 20 misn to stop enthusing about it

I personally love classics so my dream garage would be

original Mk1 RS2000 escort - I had a Mk1 1300GT, this would be the step up nostalgic car
karman ghia convertible - just beautiful
Citroen DS chapron- nothing rocked the motoring world like a DS and the chapron is a stunning piece of sculpture as well as being a car...

RS500 caterham - for those days I want to 'play'

Jag XKR convertible ( get teh hint? I like soft tops!!!!) - cruise its got 400bhp and its a JAG!

Of course in My life I'd also have some bikes...

Varadero, my current bike - comfy, quick, capable but........ boring
GPZ 750 Turbo - bike of my past - would love a good one again
1930s Norton ES II - a bike that was my late Dads, He met my Mum on his and they did their courting on one and lived with it as their only transport for many years. so many stories in my head of his exploits and all bring a tear to my eyes.

I'd have a few iconic bikes like the NC30 etc and to pee purists off I'd USE them.

I was lucky enough to drive one and it was stonkingly quick. For me it was all about the shape and the performance. That car is a 1993/1994 car...and look how awesome it still looks today

Audi R8 AND a Lambo for me... both great examples of Audi engineering and style. Neither can be called a girl's car!

If money weren't an issue hmmm... I'd still have a couple S8's D2 & D3 in the garage for my self. I'd then perhaps opt for lambo as well or perhaps a R8 or Aston, merc, ferrari ... aah heck I DON'T KNOW, I'd be like my kids in a sweet shop taking all day to decide!

Hmm, I think my garage would probably have a

space-framed mini clubman for track days, something interesting under the bonnet (probably C20XE with throttle bodies or VAG 1.8 turbo).

I'd also have a

MKI Astra GTE with something interesting under the bonnet (again probably C20XE with Throttle Bodies or something).

And for sure, there'd be a

Morris/Austin Mini Van with a nice little 1293 or 1340 for some B road fun and memory lane nostalgia

There'd also be a

Skyline GTR R34

and lastly a

Nissan GTR 2009 (R36 I think they dub it?)

Wouldn't mind a new S8 too.

OH now the money isn't an object.. Konegsegegssenenegegg.. er.. Ferrari California (the new one) for the summer...er.....dodge viper for the grunt and so I can say I have 8 litres under the hood.. er.. an H2 for playing in the dirt, or a Bowler Landy.. er.. private jet.. etc etc
In the real world, a mint Audi Quattro (80's spec) would be nice.
