They do look great - not being all that up on the various systems that can be fitted to these cars, should these calipers bolt straight up to a late Final Edition car with Brembos? Since the D3 S8 is presumably considerably heavier than the D2, as well as much quicker, I'm assuming it would still be a worthwhile upgrade over the Brembos?
Might have to tap my mate in case he has any D3 S8s come in for a brake upgrade......

Hi,
So, having had the opportunity to test the brakes a little better this weekend, they are definitely a significant improvement over the standard setup i had. They have actually improved the more i've driven it - i guess the brakes needed a little bedding in again having been in storage for a year. Are they better than a set of RS 8-pots? I don't think so having driven them before but they are close and are much much better than the standard setup and look great so i'm pleased. Unfortunately, the D2 S8 would suffer the same conversion issues as mine...you'd need to change the hub mounts i'm afraid. I'll do a proper write-up of the ABS sensor work around which i managed to sort out today as well so it may be of use to others in the future looking to do this. Oli
