Default what my wife got upto day

Right went to work as normal after a night of talking about the wheels on her A8 and what to do with them.
To gove u the full pic i have a show van

as alot of us i take the wheels off for winter and put them in spare bedroom

Well got home tonight and she started to chat about her wheels again. She started to say the van wheels would look good on A8, i said no they wouldnt.
Then she said come and have a look on laptop, well i did to be shown these

this ment she went to the tyre place today put the van alloy in boot, then took the van tyre off the alloy as there different profiles, took her front wheel off had the tyre took off there, and put it on my alloy. Then had it fitted to her car took some pics, then had them changed back.

what do u guys think, i still dont think they look right on it, but not sure what it is that makes me say that.

So learn from me dont get your mrs into cars like mine is

Big up to the wife

I'd say they work, would prefer to see front and back on at the same time, but for me they look OK. Good job

Wow, that's very impressive!...can't believe she did all that...that's dedication for you!

They don't look half bad to me either!

well done Mrs A8 Owner!!!

IMO the wheels don't work because they're not big enough. In a 20" they'd probably work nicely

Two things....

1. I recognise that van. Has it got a matching trailer?
2. Shoot the wife asap. If my wife touched my summer wheels and let some quick fick ficker near them I would shoot both of them because I am Conan the Librarian, it's what I do.

I like em BTW.

gninnam dont give her ideas for tomorrow and change 2 wheels

Oli18 dont now about dedication, more like this yr is going to cost me loads hers and mine to keep buying things for. just caught her on pc in spare room.
she has ordered dvd input cable thing for tunner box from germany for xbox360 (was going to do that anyhow) a bonnet bra,
i also know she has asked Ian & Dave for heated/elec rear seats/blinds/

A8_Tony dont want her to go bigger size one as im paying and two harder ride as u have lower profile. taking van of 18's back 2 15's for this reason but van has no shocks so i get my bounce from tyres. but when van is on full drop and on track it handles a dream

Conan_the_Librarian yer that the van

miles faster than this now this was version 1 LOL

Conan_the_Librarian Please Please dont put any more very good links up to any sites like Detail world, she found a post u put up and has also came a member on there now Im dreading to think whats going to be coming in the post from there. I know she isnt happy with the depth of shine she has on A8, and she has been incontact with a few that detail on there. to see how much to let them get it together for her £260 as a Audi has hard paint she been told so take a weekend. Told her to wait to meet and buy all the raffle tickets bound to be cheaper LOL

I admire the effort.. awesome wife! - however IMHO the wheels aren't quite right.. the typre profile to wheel ratio looks wrong..
