Question HELP!!! Leather bucket seats

So guys, I dont really know much about it so I would really appreciate if you could share your experience and knowledge.

Yesterday I went to pick up a 57plate RS4 for my mate with the proper bucket seats.
Car has only 57k on the clock, but sides are worn out as you would expect from this type of seat.

He is as an@l as me and he want to have it done properly.

We've heard about rubberized spray which covers the textile with some liquid rubber leather lookalike but non of us ever used it or seen it in action.

But, it's all about the look of it afterwards and life especially.

Guys, any honest and serious advice will be greatly appreciated.

What we need to know is if the spray on stuff is really good and if it does last long.

If replacing the sides with new leather (bottom part only) we would appreciate any recommended guys to do the job and if you know more less the cost of this job per seat that would be even better.

Ideally anyone located in London, Kent, Essex, Sussex, basically London area and anything within 60miles from M25.

Many many many Thanks guys

Marcin

PS, just looked at the pictures again and passenger seat isn't that bad.
The driver's seat actually would need sides done on the top part as well.

See attached
Cheers

Woolies.
Are those just plain black leather?
See: http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-117-...enovation.aspx it works miracles!

i think the leather can be repaired fairly easy but the stitching is going to be difficult, especially when its in a contrasting colour

If you do need a trimmer then i've used Peter Smith at http://www.swautotrimming.co.uk/ who has done some great work for me in the past on both leather and also alcantara

Guys, THANK YOU very much

We will definitely try Woolies after seeing what it has done to Oli's seats, it looks ridiculously good.
I'll be actually tempted to try this on my car as well, I will just have to find a sample cut of my existing leather somewhere from behind the rear seats and send that to them for a matching colour kit.

It will be interesting to see how long Woolies stuff will last.

I appreciate it may look 200k+, but bucket seats are so awkward to get in and get out, you actually will always find your self abusing this part of the seat no matter how hard you try.

If it doesn't last long as he is a pretty big/heavy fella, we will go with Neil's guy and have them re-stitched.

Any advice on how to use it from personal experience??

Guys, once again, thank you, your help is very much appreciated and now we know which direction we should go.

Cheers

Another fan of Woolies here too. If used carefully and the sealing coat well applied it should do the trick. I would suggest that you try this out before going for the expensive option.

Cheers David
It is worth it I have to say coz we were prepared to re-stitch the front seats anyway, but if that works a treat and last fairly long then the money can be added to a veeeeery long list of mods to do

Car is fine Borys and I get your point completely, the previous guy was one of them who don't care how they getting in and out of the car.
Car was looked after local Audi dealer from new and milage which actually is 57k is genuine.
Even if its all Audi genuine, we had a print out from Audi fo all the service history and warranty repairs as there were few, HPI check as well.
Its a genuinely fairly low mileage RS4.

I'm looking forward to using Woolies stuff on RS4 and my 8 as well, I just hope they will be able to match the platinum colour well coz last thing I want is to mess up my fairly good looking seats.
There isnt much wear on them, but few areas, only coz I'm an@l of course, could do with restoring to almost new condition/look
