This looks like a great upgrade potentially.

Anyone know how much of a gap there is seeing as these are for the A4s?

On the basis that they are a direct fit for the B6/7 S4/RS4, then the gap should be the same as the B6/7 platform RNSE.

Unit has TMC. Look on Youtube for some clips.

I like this very much, and solves the problem of ipod integration on the defunct RNS-D.

Whilst the unit claims to have TMC functionality, it remains to be seen whether this will be active in the UK.

I decided to stick with the tried and tested RNS-E for the B6

Here's another alternative I found on ebay. Looks good.

That looks like an excellent option, and very cheap!

The main factors that swayed my decision to stick with the tried & tested route were :-

OEM look
Nav directions in DIS
TMC

This unit looks OEMish, as does the Dynavin.

I realise that nav in DIS isn't supported by the D2s for some weird reason, so won't affect '8 owners.

There's no mention of TMC on this unit and although the Dynavin claims to have that function, I doubt whether it will be supported in the UK.
