Well, as an update with mine, I raised an Ebay case with the seller to return the goods as they wern't genuine.
This non genuine fact was irrelevant as I basically just wanted to post them back for a full refund, which was well within the 14 days the seller themselves stipulated, never mind various other laws etc. He got shirty, and then gave me the silent treatment. To cut a longer story short, last week Ebay awarded the outcome of the case to me, sent me a full refund and stated I could keep the goods.... So, my facelift lights cost me zero, and I have the old pre face ones to sell on. Guess i'll put up with the slightly rougher looking plastics that you cant see once fitted then

Just to add here... Mine came in Audi boxes with part numbers on it as well as on the units themselves. Also I didn't notice any roughness to the plastic on mine...it all seemed pretty smooth. Not sure what it means but still pretty jealous of the deal you got on yours! Oli
