Reminds me of when I had my first car, a Vauxhall Nova 1.5TD. Had an interest in music then, and remodelled the boot to accommodate a CD multi-changer (a big brute in the late 80s) on one side and a couple of amps and lockable storage space for the head unit on the other. Had to then redo the floor to get access to the spare and used some Aluminium checker plate that was hinged, with gas struts. Rear shelf was replaced with MDF to take the 7" speakers and 10" sub-woofer, with a further six speakers upfront.
