Hi,
So, having had the opportunity to test the brakes a little better this weekend, they are definitely a significant improvement over the standard setup i had. They have actually improved the more i've driven it - i guess the brakes needed a little bedding in again having been in storage for a year.
Are they better than a set of RS 8-pots? I don't think so having driven them before but they are close and are much much better than the standard setup and look great so i'm pleased.
Unfortunately, the D2 S8 would suffer the same conversion issues as mine...you'd need to change the hub mounts i'm afraid.
I'll do a proper write-up of the ABS sensor work around which i managed to sort out today as well so it may be of use to others in the future looking to do this.
