Default Bumper off....

...and in the paint shop for a couple of days. So I took advantage of the easy access to the tailpipes and got the Silverline (a kind of Dremmel) to work with a soft pad and Autosol.

Very pleased with the results!

Very nice indeed....methinks you're setting a high bar for Black S8's at the meeting. Not sure I can get my tailpipes to look that shiny.

Great stuff for annual meet and the next 6 months on.

This is **bare** metal now. Stainless steel hopefully. Now think about all the salt in winter -- job needs to be repeated at least annually. I wonder if the thing was designed to be removable. If yes, I'd seriously think about sparkling silver powder paint.

Better not show her these then. I had the front wheels off to give them a good clean and thought I might as well clean the calipers and touch them up, and wax the wheel arches!

Very nice! I may have to get one of those dremel tools. What kind of pad did you use, and brake cleaner too?
I was almost going to attack mine with a green dish-washer pad, but seeing as it scratches my frying pan, I didnt want to risk it on the exhaust tips.

I used a soft material pad on the 'dremmel' with lots of Autosol. And I used wheel cleaner on the calipers

might be worth spraying some clear lacquer on them now to help protect?
