Engine Stalling
Hi Guys,
Can anyone please throw any light on the following problem. Engine idles at 780 to 800 RPMs No fluctuation When it gets up to temperature whilst revs remain constant, it just cuts out. It did this for 4 or 5 times in succession. It starts again immediately with no problem. It also has a tendancy to do this when slowing down for either a roundabout or junction. Carried out a scan which showed no faults on the engine. I checked the MAF and found this to be completely clean. Also thought it might be dirty fuel, so went out and put BP 98 in the tank. Still it cuts out, when left running on tickover. It does not do it all the time, sometimes it runs fine Could this be a blocked fuel filter or something else. Thanks, David
