Default Using your 8 everyday?

Chatting with a neighbour the other day who runs an old 7 series, (I see him most weekends polishing it). He was saying that he is surprised to see me running my 8 everyday (I use it for everything, its my main car) as he only uses his at weekends, Sunday car.

It never really occured to me that this was unusual, so I am wondering, do many people on these forums have their 8 as a 'sunday /special occasion car' or are they running them everyday?

I put about 40-50miles / day on mine on the run to and from work, and local runs etc, shes upto 142k now and other than the transmission whine (mainly in reverse) and slipping (might be normal tx specialist said he thought is was ok for its age/miles) she is reliable and a pleasure to drive.

Every day car here, 25k in the first year and 18 so far in the second. The joy of driving it is enough to drive it every day.

Ive had my S8 for nearly 4 months and have clocked 18000 miles with about half of them being on the continent, and many of them being in Germany. The car hasnt missed a beat and i love getting in it every day.
