For Sale: D3 S8/W12 front calipers, red stuff pads and discs
Hi,
So after a really painful few months of finding a brake setup that i liked, getting bigger wheels to fit them and then taking the trip up north to Ben to have the brakes fitted, it turns out that my early FL setup (also found on many PF models) won't allow for the calipers to be fitted...even if the caliper mounts are modified. So i'm forced to sell this set up for now and just want to get back what i paid for it - 550 quid. The setup contains 2 S8 calipers, red-stuff pads and enormous 385mm grooved and drilled discs all in great condition with the discs and pads only having 4k miles on them.    They will fit some later D2's without modification as you can see in the tread here:  Naturally, they will fit the D3  I will be at ADI so if anyone is interested in these, please send me a PM... damn really sorry to hear they cant fit after all that Oli
 I guess that probably rules mine out too as an early facelift. . . but id be interested to talk to you and see. . . On the plus side the wheel upgrade still looks great

A purely academic question here.... would they fit a late pre facelift S8?
I say its academic as I've just replaced all four corners with original Audi Parts (vented all round, and done less than 1K miles since) and I suspect a wheel diameter upgrade from the OEM 18" Avus's may be needed to fit the D3 brakes as well.

The will fit under 18s as the calliper is a lo profile type. If you don't want them Richard I will have them.

Basically they will only fit if you already have the Teeves set up.
