Replacing the centre front PDC sensors - question
Hi,
So i spent the best part of 3 hrs yesterday trying to replace a front PDC sensor as the constant beep was getting to me. The bumper removal itself is quite straight-forward although i wish i'd had a bucket for the washer fluid. The thing that i spent ages on was trying to do was remove the metal bar that is housed inside the bumper to get to the centre PDC sensors....I removed every nut and bolt only to realise that it wouldn't move because of the washer jets (and i couldn't figure out how to remove these without possibly breaking the cover on the outside. See here bumper, the pdc and the metal bar i was trying to remove... In the end, i ended up having to try and pull out the sensors by wedging it out between the metal bar and its housing. It went fine and it's all replaced now but is there a better way to do this? I know i have another intermittent erroring sensor which is next to it which will need replacing too. Thanks, Oli
