I used V Power in my petrol V8 D2 and found a difference in fuel consumption and possibly smoother with better pickup.
With my soot chucker there is no difference in performance and fuel consumption is possibly worse! Not a very scientific test but it was over the usual commuter route and a whole tankful. I don't rate it for diesels
