Default I'm getting hitched!

Hi guys,

Thanks again for your comments and messages here regarding my upcoming wedding We're really excited to say the least.

We're thinking of flying to Scotland for our honeymoon (we get bored quickly on tropical beaches ) but just wondered if anyone had any suggestions...we're still open to options.

We'll be going for 2 weeks, we'd like to stay in 2 different places...the hotels should be amazing (including Spa) and the surroundings breath-taking. I'm also thinking of hiring an unusual car (undecided as to what yet...sports or classic) and so great roads would also be an added bonus.

Many thanks for your ideas!

Oli

Have a look at The Knockderry at Cove. No spa, but a stunning location and building, superb food and great ale. Make sure you book a traditional room (I think there is a honeymoon suite) and not a room in the modern extension. http://www.knockderryhouse.co.uk/

You could also have a look at The Isle of Eriska Hotel - on its own island and this one has a spa!

And congratulations!

Cameron House is nice too... On the shores of Loch Lomond and near some fantastic roads and scenery.

The Three Chimneys on Skye has rooms attached which are nice and they do fantastic (but not cheap) food.. so good it's booked out over a month in advance.

Oli
Now, I know where you could hire an '8 and even get picked up at the airport!
