audi huddersfield £4370 and £3933 trade so my discount isn't as good as yours Neil, its a lot more expensive up north don't you know!!!! my manual parts hunt has so far failed at the first hurdle i can't find a gearbox, missed one at weekend at our sponsors. cheers Dave

Thanks Goran they are close enough to me. In fact I've been there it's amazing! I was delivering on the same road and while I was looking for my drop I stopped Outside, just looked up at the breakers yard and the very first car I saw half burnt out Ferrari F40!!!! That got my Attention and then I looked at the next car and the next they where all Ferrari's about 50 of them. The next racks had Porsches, TVR'S a amazing supercar breakers! They even do aviation.

Looks like that list is all of them. I have an FTL on the shelf from my old A6 2.5TDIq and the 3.75 1st is more like a crawler gear - too low even for a diesel. The FTL and ENV are the most common A6q 'boxes. There are usually a couple on ebay for ~£250-300. Perhaps to make it more suitable for an S8 1st should be replaced with something a bit higher?

Those breakers sound amazing! Well worth poking around all those sport car parts just for the fun of it.

I do agree though that the 3.5 stock 1st gear is mental anyway. But fun on some occasions
