i do have keyless entry and start same as the A8
ive also noticed 3 door handles work perfect and one doesnt
the button is stuck in and doesnt give a Micro switch type click
is it possible to change this tiny button?
and my battery seems fine atm

In theory yes, but in practice it appears to be a PITA to do. Much easier to get a new door handle. Underneath the button is an even smaller surface mount switch, around 5mm square, so you'd first have to remove the handle from the car, then dismantle the handle to get at both sides of the PCB holding the switch, replace it with a new switch (assuming you can find an exact match on the likes of eBay) and then put it all back together again. I did come across a video of someone who attempted to do it but gave up. It's worth watching it just to see the switch that needs replaced:

Drivers door has part number 4E2837206G (RHD) and the other three have part number 4E0839205G.

The only difference is that one has the cut out for the key barrel and the others don't. Not really worth buying a second hand one either as they will be worn (common issue)

Whoops! Once the topic of battery drain was mentioned, I went into 'A8' mode.

That being the case, the Q7 options are more varied from a quick look, so need some clarification on exactly what is specced on the Q7. Apart from the keyless part, there is also mention of a 'chrome package'.

If you have the build sticker, here's what I've found. All the handles are the same, but there are 16 variants of them:

QJ0 - without chrome package
QJ1 - chrome package
