Just a very brief post now that we’re back home from the much-overdue meet in the Scottish Borders. First point, is a mega-massive thanks to David, Brian and Steve for organising a triumphant event!

The hotel and its location were spot on, the planning of the the main day (Saturday) was superb and we visited: the Jim Clark museum, followed by a short walk to the Jim Clark Bistro for a snacky lunch (brilliant wee cafe/bistro, with really wonderful staff and wonderful home made food); then the ‘scenic Borders drive with stops at a glorious beach, a wonderful micro brewery, a honey farm and a (very, very cautious) drive over the world’s oldest chain suspension bridge; top-notch dinner at the hotel.

Sunday morning was a visit to Floors Castle and gardens and then the trip home. And the weather was glorious!

What a great weekend - I’m sure that loads of photos will be posted soon - but for now, thanks again for such a good trip

Huge thanks to everyone who came to this year's event. Seems you can't have an annual meet without a Castle

Just in the door and wholeheartedly agree. It was a long time coming, but well worth it in the end.

Default So nice to be back doing these

Well....that was worth the (four year!) wait.

What a great chance to catch up with old friends, drive brilliant roads, see beautiful scenery, eat delicious food, and find out more about a legendary Scottish F1 and Indy 500 champion.

A pretty much perfect weekend (even with only one properly working arm. ), and hard to pick a highlight from a cracking three days, so I'll just leave these photos here, and let others wax lyrical instead - and thanks to Brian and David for taking the lead in sorting out the finer details, especially when I wasn't allowed to drive - a great job, well done

Angela and I thoroughly enjoyed our selves, a big thank you to the organisers. On a negative note, Angela's cold has turned out to be covid! I tested negative last night but I'm not feeling too bright this morning. I test again this afternoon and report back. Sorry.

Great to see you both, and to have you riding shotgun in Herman on Saturday - a rare treat (& I hope Angela recovers soon, and your case of it is mild...)
