Well, the disc which I downloaded worked.
MMI is now on version 1110, took a while and a number of restarts before it showed no more updates needed. Did it at lunchtime in the office carpark with the engine running. Had a bit of a heart attack when the air compressor kicked in during the phone update, but it went through fine. 1110 looks very different to the version that I had before. Next stop 5150, not sure if I'll go all the way. Worried about component protection and the phone on the last hop.
