Hi,

Only just got back home and just wanted to say thanks to mike for organising the club's presence at the event and for sorting out food (sorry i missed it).

It was so brilliant seeing everyone again and i'm very excited about my brakes as there may be some hope yet thanks to Dave at A8 Parts bringing down the hub-mounts i needed.

Ben - thanks for taking the time to come and have a look at the brake setup eventhough you were with Revo and will be giving you a ring over the next few weeks.

Oli

Yes Mel the new A8 has Adaptive air suspension with 4 selectable modes (auto, dynamic, comfort and lift) selectable through MMI
I would also expect upcoming sportier models to maybe have further lowered suspension

Was the R8 driver an older gent called Richard by any chance? He was my 'coach' at a Porsche day I did with work the other and was talking about probably driving the R8 on track at ADI... He drives an '8 and was the first winner of Le Mans for Porsche (in 1970 I believe).
