Default Mirror cover removal

Can anyone/someone tell me how to remove the driver door mirror cover, is it a simple job and are the clips prone to breaking? Pics would help

I would rather just take the cover into Audi to be painted as I don't want the car covered in more overspray

Just ask my mrs, she seems to remove them fairly regular.

Mirror all repainted now, decided to let Audi do it themselves so if anything broke they would be responsible. Dropped the car in this morning and collected it at 3:30 this afternoon. Also had the plastic shield put back on yesterday, the usual "not sure we removed that part" so they were very non committal but sorted it out and gave me 4 extra pins should I ever have the need for them, just in case 'it falls off again'
