I've been thinking that its probably worth changing the fuel pump, since its sat for so long. Obviously merely thinking that prompted the pump to fail on the single track lane up to my house

Luckily I had a spare, so walked to the workshop, got some tools and a backup car, and changed it by the side of the road.



The reason I was out and about was to get an assessment on the paintwork from a local detailer who specialises in paint recovery



Before - etching all over the place from having sat outside for so long



After a test patch - like glass! The car is booked in for the full multi-stage paint correction in a couple of weeks



As prep for the paintwork being sorted I made a start on the brightwork which was also a tad faded





It came up very well
