My mechanic is on vacation as he has account with tps. Can I just order from them direct?

It depends on how "end user friendly" your local TPS branch is really, many will sell to you as readily as to trades. I have an account linked to my business so it's not an issue. I would give it a try, just tell them your mechanics name and that he's away on holiday, at the end of the day a sale is a sale to most of them.

just an update, called north london TPS said I am calling on behalf of my mechanic for a quote for the engine under guard. £200+

Thanks Paul. Seems ok but looking at oli's thread I don't know if they did a specific for our loud tractor engines?? Can anyone translate this please???
