I paid the grand sum of £7.02 from Aliexpress, although the same set have now sky-rocketed to £7.09

From what someone said earlier in the thread, you don't need the spacers for the VW jets. It is one of the simplest and most effective upgrades you could possibly do, that I can think of.

In a side by side comparison to the ones I took off, they look 100% authentic. In terms of build quality, the moving parts (the nozzle) are snug and move smoothly. The plastics used in the construction seem as firm as the originals, have the same finish and no sharp edges. Dimensions wise, everything was perfect. The connectors made a satisfying click and likewise when fitting to the bonnet, there was a satisfying click from the fasteners.

Probably the biggest issue with buying copied stuff from the likes of China is how good a copy it is, and one of their biggest failings is in quality and accuracy. In this instance, the quality is excellent as is the accuracy. Will have to wait on another cold spell to see if the electrics are as good.

Will they last as long as the OEM ones? I don't know, but for £7 it's a chance I'm willing to take. I still have the original ones as spares, so I won't be stuck.

Yeah Neil, that's for the heated ones. There are non-heated ones available and they're even cheaper. The link is as follows:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2KD9...311.0.0.mFOcwF

If you do a search, you'll find lots of sellers doing them.

Thanks good lead - you will still need the VAG spacers for the D3 Aluminium Bonnet to angle them at the right height

Not that I'm aware. At their lowest setting, they hit just near the bottom of the windscreen, and on their highest setting they're hitting about two thirds of the way up the windscreen.

One thing I don't like is having my windscreen washed by the driver in front, so I like to ensure mine go over the top of the car, so two thirds is idea for me.
