Yep, today after a half day of fitting O-rings to pipes and filling fluid reservoirs and checking everything twice I hit the go key and after 2 long periods of cranking it fired. I was so happy; for 50 seconds then it coughed and I cut the ignition. Vagcom was showing multiple random misfires. Fired it up again and after a few seconds coughed and died. I'm fairly certain it's fuel related.
Anyway. A full Vagcom scan showed no other faults so I think the install has gone well. Will spend tomorrow investigating the fuse and relay for the fuel pump; although I have it very reliable that my pump sounded weird when last heard running! Great ![]() Tonight's photo: ![]()
