Good choice - one of the very few Audi products that I'd be likely to buy to replace my D2. Practical, fast and spacious - I'm even starting to like the rear end
 I may need to come to Castle Combe now to have an ogle...

Cool - they do seem to come pretty well equipped as standard once you get up to s-line spec
 The little pop up boot spoiler is quite amusing! Don't buy the extended Audi warranty unless you don't mind being tied to Audi for any (and I mean any!) service work. Just bought it for the S5 and the warranty company, on behalf of Audi, were happy to let me know that having the air-con re-gassed outside the dealer network would invalidate my warranty if an air-con component failed - lovely  On the plus side the 2 year service deal (£299 for under 3 litre, £399 over 3 litre) actually looks quite decent value for a major and minor service ETA - is yours the 4 or 6 cylinder?

Wasn't sure to be honest, but tfsi usually describes the 2.0t rather than v6t for the S models and I am easily confused!
The loaner I had recently was a 3.0 soot chucker in SE spec but didn't get an opportunity to look at much else about it! Our warranty just expired at the end of August and didn't want to not have one with the potential for a huge bill if the gearbox decides not to play ball....

Congrats on the new wheels, I always take some time to warm to the look of newer cars and when I first seen the 7's rear end I kinda pulled my head back with a sharp intake of breath.
But its quite a good looking car now, look forward to hearing your thoughts once you have time to get to know it better.

Prices are nowhere near my range either !!
As a Yorkshireman, it felt distinctly uneasy handing over so much money, but hopefully with a practical element, modern feel, a good mix of economy and power, plus all the options I could hope for, I'm really hoping this will be a keeper for a while......
