Rubber Cleaner - Seals
What do you guys use on your rubber bits and bobs such as seals?
My rear door seals had gone a bit sqeaky (on realy rough road), so i gave them a quick clean which has stopped it 70%, just wondering what the best thing for rubber seals to clean and treat them was? Its a common problem on A4s too, and someone was rating some american stuff that is silicon based i beleive and you apply it like the shoe polish with the foam aplicator mounted on the bottle, cant i find the thread or product? no! |

i just use a silicone spray ...it cleans, absorbs it into the rubbers and provides a layer of protection.

I use either:
Poorboys Trim Restorer or Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel With the megs use an old cloth and buff it off before you close your door or bonnet. With the PB let the stuff dry a bit then buff to shine with a soft cloth.
