The only possible explanation is that it's been topped up with water There's no way water can get in to that system other than being added via the reservoir, and it was filled right to the top so I surmise someone has mistaken it for the screen wash bottle.

Interestingly, the steering is exceptionally light on this one. I wondered if it had servotronic before I got it on the lift, but now I'm thinking it may be something to do with it running on mayonnaise We'll see once it's fixed. I'm planning to flush it with ATF since that has very powerful detergents in it and should pick up all the gunge (plus its cheap), then flush again with the proper CHF11.
